Hop on over to to see one of our newest additions—an 8-month-old kangaroo "joey"—on exhibit with its mom, Daisy, at the Australia House. A joey is born at a very underdeveloped stage, about the size of a jellybean, and needs to crawl up to its mothers pouch without any assistance, where it will remain for many months to develop. This incredible journey from the birth canal to the pouch takes about three minutes. When the joey is 8 months old, it begins venturing out of the pouch more frequently.
How cute this baby kangaroo is!
And I really like the fact that you didn't overlay the audio with music. The sounds of the birds chirping and the visitors' voices is much better because it makes viewers feel like they are right there at the Zoo!
