It seems we have some things in common. It's so nice to talk to a polite person on TYT.
I agree with you that American policy on Iraq and Iran over the past 30 years has been a shambles. And administrations of both parties have badly mishandled many aspects of it. I think the broader point that Rohrabacher was making was that Reagan was clear that his duty was to America, whereas Obama never quite seems to be clear if his primary duty is to America or "the good of the world".

@DavidUK84: Rohrabacher was talking about how Reagan would have been tougher on Iran. But Reagan actually sided with Iran during his administration. That was Cenk's point.
Don't get me wrong I agree with you on Reagan with USSR - Operation Cyclone was a tremendous success. In terms of Realist International Relations theory, Reagan's Administration was a tremendous success.
That being said, tho, Reagan did drop the ball with Iran-Contra.

Reagan was the man who did more than any other individual to bring down the Soviet Union and destroy communism as a credible system. He did more than anyone else to ensure that the west won the cold war.
TYT and their fan-boys will never forgive him for that.
