98 Vmax 700 XTC-P

Just a short clip from a few years ago, of me on my Yammy. Stock motor, a little clutch work, Bender can, reed spacers, boyesen reeds, and air box mod. The "P" means powder, as this was a one year only sled. Mountain skis, and 121X1.5 track, from the factory. Probably the best stock trail sled. With everything I have done, it now runs better than it did new. I have owned it since new.

@MrHutchDaddy It's pretty good. When I bought it, it was Yammy's attempt at what you can buy today, better known as crossovers. It has the 1.5 X 121 track. It has mountain skis, paddle track and trail gearing. Took it to the mountains a couple times, and it was ok. Wasn't highmarking anything, but nobody could keep up on the trails in or out.

@MrHutchDaddy I don't know all of the years anymore, but all Vmax's used to be 121's and the Mountain Max machines were 136's. Then the Mountain Max's stepped up to 141 and 151.

Not really. It is kind of big for a stinger. I bought the can new in '98 from Bender Racing. I don't know if they are still available.

the srx will sound better cuz it has triple pipes.... sounds great man!! i picked up a mbrp because i couldnt find a bender.... then about a month after i bought it someone had a bender on craigslist for 175 bucks i was so pissed!! i cant wait for snow so i can post some vids of it cuz its gonna sound sweet

I'm with you on that one... I have an MBRP race can on my SRX 700 and it sounds SICK. I always get a great comment anywhere I go. One of the comments I got was "That sounds like a fucking demon!" LOL

no offense but personally i think a Yamaha Srx 600 or 700 sounds better
