  • The 1st gen Cudas are the best looking. They have a bit of a European look, if that makes any sense.Beautiful example of one.

  • @bg147 Thanks for the kind words. They usually stand out where ever they go. Little known fact, they beat the Mustang to the showroom by 2 weeks making them the 1st "pony" car. This is little known as they did not have the marketing campaign of the Mustang.

  • very nice car, wish that modern cars were built like that

  • I wish modern cars were as simple to fix, heh.

  • Nice!

So what your saying is your Pop was Reunited with his Barracuda 31 years later?

I take it that it would have a 273 motor?

    Anyway very nice!

  • Yup, after a full resto started in 2004. Matching #'s 273 4bbl Commando, 904 Auto, 8 3/4 with 3.23's and a sure grip.

  • Did he run that stop sign??? I kept waiting for the tail lights to come on showing a stop but nothin!!!

When my parents got married they left the wedding in a 1964 Barracuda. Dad said then that he would like to own one. When I got married, my wife and I had our picture taken in Dads 1965 Barracuda he had just gotten done putting together. That was 16 years ago. I drove that 1965 to car cruises this summer too ;-) Now I gotta get started on my 1966.

  • I'd have been worrying about him coming back around the block with the car in one piece. =-) My dad bought a 68 GS Buick (a rare car in Australia) home and backed it into the letter box as he reversed into the driveway only a few days after he bought it.

  • nice car nice thing to do for your dad too

  • youre right there, got a peugeot 106 and it took me and one of my uncles all day to do the timing belt.
