The Callaway "Big Bertha" driver...swing like the pro's
A key design feature of the Big Bertha driver, as well as Callaway Golf irons, was a breakthrough invention called S2H2, which stands for Short, Straight, Hollow, Hosel. The design shortened the traditional hosel length, allowing weight to be moved lower and to the perimeter area of the clubhead. The hollowed-out or Tru-Bore technology was part of the S2H2 design, extending the shaft tip through the clubhead to the sole. Even today, the design remains unique and integral to many of the company's clubs.
