  • I'm wondering how did he get 7 seconds of thrust with sugar based propellant

  • large diameter motor using a low number of inhibited grains with low pressure and a large nozzle throat diameter. Gives a large, but slow moving exhaust stream, so it won't blast off the pad but will give a slow steady progressive thrust curve.

  • WHY, WHY, don't MY rockets work this well!!!!

  • cause yours blow up

  • tat was a beautiful flight.

  • @snuxshux lol

  • lol

  • 9.5 seconds of thrust dumass

  • I’ve come to the conclusion that I would have probably received more information if I had emailed the US Navy and asked for the specs of a Trident missile. After rereading the past posts it seems several people have asked for info concerning the construction of “Jack’s Pointed End Up” and all received a non-reply or at best one explaining basic rocket motor theory. I just find it sad that someone with the skills and knowledge required to build such a wonderful rocket would be so selfish.

  • @airgunsniper Who do I need to contact to get the specs for this rocket and motor? I've always found it's better to try and reproduce something successful when learning... and that was a VERY successful launch!

  • I know why rockets are shaped like that, coz I got a fat :P

  • @fishguru73 so you want to blow up thousands of dollars?

  • That was awsome mate! I love the long burning engines, well done!

  • The dimensions the number of the grains and the nozzle throat, also the type of the propellant (KNSU KNSB KNDX...)
