Dead cutlass 2, Runs like death

I shut it off at the end the motor started to rev up on it's own!

@Corvette1658 I still have the car the motor is mostly gone I have no plans to fix the motor I would like to get the car going again to drive in the winter.

Are you sure that's not a 3300?

@oldscsc 1995 3100 was the first motor. I put a 1998 in it and that's what's in the video.

@TheRiskTaker when the heads go bad coolant doesnt always make it to the engine oil . like when the head goes bad in the exaust port itll just blow the coolant out the tail pipe or pipes its when it blows in the intake side thats when it will drain into the oil

@TheRiskTaker no black smoke is carbon meaning it not burning the fuel completely or its flooding blue smoke is oile burning and a very steamy / coolant smelling means it burning anti freeze meaning bad head and/or head gasket

Sounds like a piston came off the rod and the rod is hitting the cylinder walls. Id probably just swap motors. You've probably done something with it already since its been over 3 years now.

@442olds1972 Wanan go good and cheap just find a LN# 3800 motor in it. Or get a l67 Supercharged 3800 if you have mad skills and scare the heck out of everyone! :D
