It's now over a week since Cavendish sent the cycling world cartwheeling (literally, for some) with his dodgy finishing sprint on Stage 4 of the 2010 Tour de Suisse. But what I can't get over is the the luck break Juan Antonio Flecha Caught to thread *three* needles on his way to an improbable rubber-side-down result.

  • @ClockCutter cav is notorius for changing his line it was his fault not hausslers, remember when he almost crashed hushovd as well?

  • Great video. Thank you.

  • Бывают и такие финалы гонок(

  • Great analysis, I have never consider that part!

  • @SVVNRene you are allowed to change directions, otherwise its just a straight drag race to the finish, or should they just stick to time trials and bin bunch racing? Haussler's fault. No question. and idk about your reaction time, but mine is a lot less than 2 seconds, and I'm sure most other peoples is as well.

  • clockcutter....head down for better oxygen intake? what a load of shit ! put your chin into your chest and take a deep breath then do the same but with your chin above shoulder height.....sprinters have head down for aerodynamics...and yes i can sprint 77.6 kph ...a sprint is about fast twitch muscles exploding raw power for about 10-20secs heart rate and oxygen uptake unimportant...cavendish caused the crash!!!

  • And that with almost 70 kmph..

  • i didn't realise there are names for veering left and right...

  • Chris Griffin?

  • @SVVNRene Heh. Ha. Haussler had no time to respond, because he could not SEE anything. His head was buried in his lap.
