The style of swing that we teach and dance is primarily derived from the Arthur Murray Single Step Swing or Single Step Jitterbug. We also blend in various other styles and at times add a punk-rock flair. To that end, we promote our dancers developing their own styles, so no two of our dancers will be quite the same.

In the social and improvisational spirit of the dance style, this performance is not choreographed; only the various moves used throughout were practiced (and many listenings to the song).

Swing Goth primarily promotes dance moves that can be properly lead and followed without prior choreography as well as can be done on the social dance floor at clubs; for this reason, you will generally not find aerials and flips in any of our performances.

Dancers:
Brian Gardner & Alyssa Rosenbloom
Mark Ribau & Sherry Hentschelmann

Music:
"The Wrong Side" by Abney Park (used with kind permission and available at abneypark.com and on iTunes)

Videography:
Steen Comer (http://www.mediapathic.net/)
