This is one of many replicas and for a while David Hailwood was involved in selling them.

I know the guy that built that bike, He's Hungarian and if you listen to when Hailwood drops the rev's down to an idle it runs smooth, an original gear drive Honda motor does not want to run at low Revs, just listen to some of the real Honda's on You Tube...youll hear the difference.and yes if they have said its an Original Replica..because it was never built by Honda

That is NOT an orignal RC181, thats 550 Honda street motor and the tach is a Scitsu electric unit. So that can't be his dad's race bike, If you ever heard a 4valve, gear drive 500cc Honda....its wicked sounding...That motor was a Poooch !
