Rico duking it out with the cleaning machine. I know there are a lot of angry, concerned people on here about the Wolf hybrid/owner situation. Every situation is unique but any animal, cat, bird, dog is not an accessory, they are companions. I rescued him from a Husky Rescue who came to the establishment to find my poor baby tied up and starving over a weekend. I found him, took him in (since they did not handle hybrids) and trained him, pretty intensely and love him just as intensely to get him as calm as he is. Say what you will, god just blessed me with my hairy little soul mate.

  • @pyrokinder, Most people misrepresent their animals- some knowingly and some unknowingly- many of which go by what has been told to them by the breeder, shelter, previous owner. This animal is not an Arctic wolf and probably has little to no wolf in him. Your dog is probably just that- a GSD/Husky mix that was accurately represented. :)

  • @MystikalMayhem Gotta love em, no matter what they are <3 When I found out mine weren't what I was told, my feeling about them didn't change so it surprised me when I was told most people will try to get rid of them or something cause of it... Breaks my heart :(

  • I love your wolf hybrid, SO cute, I absolutely love wolves :D

  • @mantarave, None of those are wolf specific traits. I have known plenty a husky that never barked during their entire life, and I have also met a few poorly bred northern breeds that did not have the typical curly tail. Wolves have a very wide range of vocalizations- including barking- though it does not sound like a regular dog bark, and they generally only bark when distressed/warning.

  • @wolfdogfostermom Actually, it is a wolfdog hybrid. Notice the tail doesn't curl and the wolfdog can not bark. Barking is something that only domestic bred dogs can do, wolves can only whimper, yap, and howl.

  • wh-what is this machine spawned from teh depths of wolf hell itself!? I MUST DEFEAT IT IN IN WOLFISH COMBAT!!! *runs away*

  • @ForgottenBeasts Mystikal didn't even mention genetics - which is sad, cause they're more similar in genetics than they are physical traits xD (DOES NOT mean Huskies and what not have wolf in them, THIS IS NOT TRUE as many people believe they're automatically "half wolf". More BS). The two species have very very similar dna (hence why they can breed together and come out with a wolfdog), but it does not make them the same and even still their physical traits are to the extreme, different lol.

  • @ForgottenBeasts Have you not seen a picture of a wolf??? I'm sorry but i can tell a true wolfdog and a husky at first glance - even from a distance. Please, go look up some pics of huskies and wolves and put them side by side and tell me how alike they really look. You're claiming they're easy to misidentify - which they aren't one bit. Uneducated people believe that though - "wolves look like huskies/mals". It's complete BS and part of the misrep that's spread.

  • @ForgottenBeasts No... They really don't... Huskys have thin ears, prominent stop, round eyes, short muzzle, not nearly as tall, and their patterns and colors are not blended ONE bit like a wolf.

Wolves ears are small, rounds, well furred and shoe leather thick. They're tall and lanky, tail NEVER curls, black tipped, has precaudal gland, muzzle is long with VERY little to no stop (unlike the huskys HUGE stop - a GIANT factor in considering their looks and claiming they 'look alike').Not at all.

  • @HiXael i didn't mean genetics or anything similar to that. i meant appearance. glance at a Wolf, and then glance at a husky, and they look VERY similar; similar colors and similar body build, but NOT the same!

  • @MystikalMayhem i didn't mean genetics! i meant appearance! briefly look at a Wolf, and then briefly look at a husky, and they look similar!

  • @wolfdogfostermom I'd so take Lu boy if I was set up for a woofer right now D= I'd love him, and pet him, and love him, and love him some more ;P jk. He's such a cute boy though - I really do wish I could <3 :)

  • @HiXael...You want a blackphase eh? TAKE LU!!!!! LOL!

  • @HiXael oh haha i got him in Albany in Oregon ! Actually i have no clue where he come from ;( I adopted him when he was a years and a half old. Hes almost 3 now. He is a low content one though he look more wolfie in real and also act more like it. Video and picture never really give full justice unfortunately. But yep i love him to death, he is so affectionate toward me hehe always craving my attention he is a real sweetie !

  • @MystikalMayhem Ah ok lol. I saw "McKenzie Valley Wolf"... Katie Newton is famous for her fake "MKVW" lol. She's one crazy misrepper lady, my God.. One of the WORST!!!

Thank you! You're pup is such a cutey x3

  • @HiXael No i did not, i got him from a lady named Kasy on craigslit. She was adopting him out for a couple who was going to have a baby and didn't want to keep him. And yes lol Snow does look more wolfie than Xael hehehe they are both gorgeous !

  • @MystikalMayhem Tried posting this last night but didn't go through lol: In all seriousness, Snow is a NO CONTENT (Gpa was from TP Kennel too) but gpa was misrepped as pretty much a pure arctic. She has NO WOLF in her background though, but sadly looks wolfier than Xael who does have wolf in his background lol

  • @MystikalMayhem Xaels parents were from TP Kennel in Idaho and misrepped as F1s lol. dad MIGHT have been a low. moms dad was thought to b low, but she was basically a no. same with xael. he has wolfdog herritage (tp used to have REAL wds) but wasnt a wd himself lol. and snow? her gpa was from same place. shes my "97% arctic"!!! LMAO!! XD

  • @MystikalMayhem thank u. it still hurts but fate brought him back to me through his daughter who was adopted and brought back to xaels breeder. he had an accidental litter b4 he was fixed... u didnt get ur wd from katie newton did u?

  • @HiXael They are gorgeous !!! And omg i am so sorry one of them died :(((( and it is recent too ..I cant imagine your pain, i feel so sorry for you. When i read that, watching your video, it brought tears to my eyes :( If something like that happen to my babies, i have a golden and a wolfdog (on my channel too except the golden) i think i would die :( You made a beautiful and really cool video i loved it a lot and Favorited it.

  • @ForgottenBeasts Huskies similar to a wolf ???????????????? LOL Are you serious !?!?!?! You can't even compare them because there is so many difference between them both and dont get me started on that, the list would be too long. People are so ignorant ..

  • @ForgottenBeasts Oh, here's a good one. I bet if you saw my dog, who was husky/gsd mix, you'd tell me he was wolf too right??? Sadly, his colors and what not are wolfier than this dog, but he doesn't have a drop in him lmao. This pup looks to have more gsd or something else than my boy did, but he's defo husky with no wolf, I can tell you that. But like I said, go look up phenotyping. A great place is texx-wolf-tails @ webs . com

  • @MystikalMayhem I'm guessing it's husky/gsd so some of the colorations pattern could be from GSD. It looks mixed with a bit of GSD anyway but not much. But I believe huskies can throw patterns like that - I'm not TOO familiar with all of the husky patterns and coat types though. But I love this type! This and the color my boy was (on my channel there's a vid of him and a few others if you search Xael or Hixael on YT search) are my favorites on huskies :)

  • @ForgottenBeasts LMAO!

No they aren't - just wow. Go do your homework on dogs kid.

Actually, go learn to PHENOTYPE!!! Once you can do that, THEN come talk to me and tell me I'm wrong :)

Guarenteed you'd wind up agreeing with me!

  • @HiXael as you've said, not your dog. unless you're friends with the producer, i don't believe you. huskies are very similar to a Wolf; maybe this dog is part Wolf, maybe not.

  • @HiXael oh wow thats sound pretty cool hehe i was wondering too where that husky would have gotten his color. The pattern and color just make it look really beautiful. It look so soft too hehe
