At 1:51 it's really obvious that Logan likes Veronica as more than just a friend. He's trying to hide how much he cares whether she accepts the invitation or not, and Veronica is oblivious to this, but to everyone else it will always be obvious that they love each other.

the great thing about this scene - other than the FANTASTIC dialogue - is the hidden tension. it's palpable.
(also, i love the little moment when logan won't give her the invitation. so cute.)

I love this scene..I know the dance in 2x17 and what he says to her later in this episode are romantic..but to me, it is how he looks at her in this scene that shows how much he is still really in love with her.
