Sports Spy watch review

Purchased this watch from ebay for £35.00 small review.

Watch does video in 640 x 480 video is ok but sound quality is quite bad and you can hear the watch ticking.

Filmed on a kodak zi8 at 1080p at 3ofps and edited in imovie.
Also cannot find out how to change date and time stamp on video says its in 2007 and the wrong time instructions are very basic and don't explain how.

is this watch durable? and when you said the sound quality is quite bad because of the ticking, how bad is it?

@TheHalofan26 The sounds decent if you are in a load environment the sound drones out the ticking but if your in a quite environment sometimes its hard to hear what people say because of the ticking.

As for durable it can take a bit of rough and tumble but i wouldn't go getting it wet at all cause it doesn't look like its too water proof and theres no evidence on the watch or in the instructions to state otherwise.

@pixonu yup sure does comes with a usb cable that has a 3.5mm jack on the other end just plugs in as shows as a mass storage device on both mac and pc.

got mine today. the usb cover thing was missing, the disk that comes with it was all scratched and there was actually a piece of the shiny part missing. charging it now to see if i can even power it on. only figured out how to work it after reading the broken english instructions lol

This is crap. DO NOT BUY! My camera stopped working within 24 hours, now when i hit the power button a red light just blinks. It wont connect to my computer either.

Hey question, when I hit record video and plug in the watch to my computer after, the video only shows up as an Audio file(.wav) why would that be? Or am I using it wrong? I have the same model as you I bought it from Ben's Outlet.

@10101snowman On the right top of my watch is a microphone. the lid comes off and can be replaced with a lid with a hold in it. sound comes through fine now.
