Have you ever seen a NASCAR racing car drift? I bet you haven't, that's why I thought it would be pretty cool if I could.
So I popped open the garage on my NASCAR Heat game, modified the car so it oversteered, and started practicing. Oh boy, is it hard to keep the car under control. First of all you have to make sure you don't turn in too hard, and that is unbelievably hard to do with a keyboard. Next, you have to keep the car in check by pressing on the arrow keys 5 times every second. But the hardest part of all is regaining the traction after the corner to power out.
After over two hours of practicing, I finally got a pretty good lap. I know I crashed near the end, but I didn't stop completely and I would have to practice way more to try to get another lap like this.
IF THIS LOOKS EASY, IT IS DEFINITELY NOT!

It was extremely hard to hold any drifts because I was using a keyboard. Your choices were full lock on the steering wheel and full throttle, no throttle, or full brakes.
It's really hard to drift when you have that to work with.

It's called "Requiem for a Dream", it's a background song from a movie I believe.
