@eblp4life, The distance and surface of the B.C. F&M Sprint played right into Informed Decision's long suite. The break of this race is what decided the outcome, IMO. Informed Decision broke sharply and never looked back. Ventura is a great mare. But she was never gonna catch Informed Decision in this race at this distance. JMO.

I won't be at all surprised if Informed Decision is able to repeat as Breeders Cup F&M Sprint champion in 2010 at Churchill Downs. She races a bit better over synthetic surfaces. But she races well enough over conventional dirt too, that she'll be a legitimate contender to repeat. She's won the Humana Distaff at Churchill Downs on the dirt in 2009, and ran 3rd in the same race in 2010.

I thought Informed Decision turned in one of the best performances on Breeders Cup ladies day. Or during the whole Breeders Cup meet for that matter. She just really broke sharply, and took it right to Ventura in this race. She got her first win of 2010 in the Chicago Handicap at Arlington. I think she'll take another stab at the F&M Sprint in 2010. Leparoux has a mare in Informed Decision that races equally well over synthetics and conventional dirt. JMO.

Easiest 2-horse Ex. Box I've EVER wagered. Informed Decision's best race is 7 panels on the Synthetic, and Ventura was better at a mile on the turf. I still think Ventura was the better horse, but the race played out more in Informed Decision's favor, she won it. It's horse racing.
