Iowa Safe Schools is Iowa's only education organization working to protect LGBTQ youth in the state from bullying and harassment. Last legislative session, extremist lawmakers sought to strike protections from Iowa's anti-bullying law for LGBTQ youth and those perceived as LGBTQ. In other words, they wanted it legal for LGBTQ youth to be viciously called names, cyberbullied, and assaulted in schools.

We need Ellen DeGeneres' voice to stop these extremists. We need the support from someone with a powerful voice to step up and stop the violence and hatred directed at LGBTQ youth in Iowa. Ellen, will you come to the 6th Annual Iowa Governors Conference on LGBTQ Youth? We need your support.
