Film critic Chris Stuckmann reviews The Thing (2011), starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Joel Edgerton, Jonathan Lloyd Walker, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Eric Christian Olsen. Directed by Matthijs van Heijningen.
My fave Sci-fi/horror film of the year, i saw it 4 times in theaters and watched 1982's movie on DVD/Blu-Ray afterwards and even went to Universal Orlando and had a blast with the Maze in horror nights.
1982's movie was NOT a remake of the 1951 version, it is THE quintessential faithful adaptation of John Campbell's novella "Who Goes There" which inspired the 1951 version.
One of these days you'll have to review Patriot Games

I saw it 4 times and had a blast with it, worthy of the 1982 masterpiece and to the cool 2002 video game sequel
