1) Elgar - Enigma Variations (Variation VII "Troyte")
2) Brahms - Symphony No. 1 (1st movement, 9 bars after Q to end)
3) Beethoven - Symphony No. 9 (1st movement, 18 bars before S to end)

Percussion Repertoire:
1)Tambourine: Dvorak's "Carnival Overture
2)Marimba: "Gigue" from J.S. Bachs Cello suite no. 3 in C major
3)Snare Drum: Rimsky Korsakov's "Scheherazade, Mvt. 4

  • Great playing. The sound of the snare drum thins out when played at the edge, ie. the low end of the sound goes away. I challenge you to think of playing quietly in the centre. I know few players do that, but it sounds much better. Especially the quick crescendi in Scheherazade, they just sound fuller when begun and ended in the centre instead of going edge to centre. Thank you for posting publicly.
