  • As a German I lived in Saigon and Da Nang during and after the war. At that time it was forbidden to listen to songs of TRC because he was accused to be pro Communist. Shortly after the war he was forbidden by the Communist, because he was said to be pro Thieu regime. Please, think a bit before you give any comments and listen to the words which are beautyfull at a time where are many wars going on in the world and where is peace in Vietnam now. A dream TCS has dreamed for so long...

  • Can we all just rejoice in the beautiful song, the greatness that is "Vietnamese" You may try to enforce your political view in this forum, or you can praise a great Vietnamese musician that wrote some of the most profound songs, tell me my dear friend, which would bring Vietnamese people together?

  • Nghe giong hơi khó chịu.Bài hát ý nghĩa miễn bàn.

  • In which grove do the trees destitute of leaves?

From a deep abyss hearing an invitation then waking up

Oh this lot of sand and dust,

Some ink stain erases it unheeded.

-the end- -translated by Le Uyen-

  • All these years being human's incarnation,

Suddenly one afternoon the hair turns white as lime.

The faded leaves high above fall profusely,

For a hundred years then dying one day.

    Which sun illuminates my heart?

For the love is ground into cobble-stone.

Let me bury my face melancholically,

Each passing day tiredly waiting for good news. -translated by Le Uyen-

  • Sand And Dust

Which speck of dust became my incarnation?

For one day rising up into this grown shape.

    Oh wonder sand and dust!

The sun illuminates a wandering incarnation.

Which speck of dust became my incarnation?

For one day I will return to sand and dust.

    Oh worn sand and dust!

Some noise beats time inconsolably. -translated by Le Uyen-

  • hay quá, thank

  • How many years of human life Suddenly an afternoon hair is turned white as lime Fallen leaves from high are filled For one hundred of years to die in one day Which sun enlightens my heart? For love grinds away into pebbles I look down melancholy For everyday passing wait in desperation for good news Which clusters of forest with ragged trees? From the deep abyss I heard the call Oh dust your position Any ink can remove you without any trace.
