I finally got around to properly using my Arduino interface this morning, instead of using it as a token ornament of curiosity.

Lots of LED fun when I should have been writing a thesis.

  • Cheers, I must get hold of some pinks and blues.

  • I have a pretty similar layout sitting on my arduino at the moment too. ;-) ( driving mine through a maxim max6969 ic though ). Greetings from Melbourne.

  • Cheers for the comment, my example's a bit of a first attempt at getting an LED array going ;). Greetings from Adelaide.

  • oooOOOOooo coolness! i wanna make one now!

  • The colors are very pretty and you should add pinks and blues.

  • If you want to keep going with it, the max6969's are pretty nice for doing lines of a LED array - you just set the input bit and then clock them and they carry it on down the row like a shift register, driving the LEDs directly. Easy to daisy chain too. :)

Dunno how much they cost - maxim sampled me two of them for free.
