@HernanCortes1521 How do you figure it's a real TEJANO SONG?? Ben Peters, who wrote it, isn't from Texas. Duane Dee who first recorded it & realeased it is not from Texas. There were no Spanish lyrics until Freddy added them. How then is it "intended" to be a bilinual song?

@PhallusFlaccidus I love Freddy's version. So no disrespect to him. But what do you mean Freddy intended this song to be bilingual?? Freddy didn't write the song. Nor was he the first to record & release it. It's a country classic written in English language lyrics only. It had been done by many others before Freddy Fender.
