Well, this is a first timer made simply with Windows Movie Maker and achieving perfection was never my goal, so spare me. Anyway, it's more of an informal video made for the Nordic Project in the online game "Renaissance Kingdoms".

  • As a Swedish, Scandinavian Viking i am proud that nobody has invaded Sweden yet. Not even our mighty brothercountries Norway and Denmark have succeeded. Either Russia. Now, I am worried about the invasion who is going on right now. Islam, headache of the world, is about to taking control. I beg you, my Nordic and European brothers, vote to Nationalism! For Germania!

  • @krusokat In 1658, Sweden conquered entire Denmark except for Copenhagen. It was the Dutch,Poles and Germans that forced Sweden to abandone Denmark.

Read your history again (The invasion forced Denmark to give up 1/3 of your country)

  • @MartinArmageddon Denmark and norway were neutral too, but Germany still occupied Norway and Denmark because Hitler wanted to secure to the west.. It was not necessary to take over Sweden.. I'm from Denmark btw.

  • @densvenskeman The only reason you were not taken over by the nazies in WWII were because you were pussies and stayed natural while norway and denmark was taken over

  • @joonte1010 Regarding the rebellion: //lokalhistoriewiki.no/index.php/Bondeoppr%C3%B8ret_1540

  • @joonte1010 danes then atacked the unarmed pesants. This is the famous rebellion that ended in backstabbing and horror, in 1540. So, when Norway was reduced to nothing, by almost 100 years of civil war, and then the black death, lack of nobility, fallowed up by the end of the royal line, the danes got the upper hand. The union was intended to be a containment from hanseatic pressure, but ended up being dominated by the danes. BUT, the past is the past.

  • @joonte1010 - more faithful to the kingdom. And thereby reduce the risks of rebellions. 3. The black death whiped out the rest of the old nobility. After the line of kings died out with queen Margarets son Olav, there were no legal hair left, and no nobility to really take over. No leaders to form a rebellion and so on. There was a pesant rebellion in Telemark, and danish troops was sent. The farmers were told to put down their weapons and negotiate under peace, they did, but the -

  • @joonte1010 No, there was never a big rebellion here. There are many factors to that. 1. The norwegian civil war, witch whiped out the old nobility, and strengthened the kings position. 2. Due to that, Norway as the only country in Scandinavia altered the old germanic law of heritage, so instead of being an elective kingdom, like Sweden and Denmark, the kingdom would pass to son from father. This would later become common in Sweden and Denmark as well. Witch made the ppl -

  • @tordengud Denmark was never good for Norway, They used your country as something they could "Pay off" Sweden with in defeats, I heard from a Norwegian friend that the Norwegians did a rebellion similure to the one in Sweden during the Kalmar Union. But the Norwegian rebellion were brutaly beaten down and the people were hanged inside a house or something, Not sure what he said but it was something like that.

  • @joonte1010 - the danish new frigates will bear the name of Ivar Huitsfeldt. And as funny as it is, the danes call it their fleet. In fact, several of the line ships were also built in Norway. So, the danes wouldnt create a large norwegian army, but they were more than willing to let the norwegians form the main bulk of the fleet, including the admirality. This wouldnt pose a risk of rebellion. Denmark throwed Norway into wars we did not have any interest in, and stole our resources.

  • @joonte1010 "sadly the norwegians had to pay" well you got that right, we werent allowed to have a trained army due to danes fearing a rebellion. In 1628 the norwegian army was established, and only in a small number, so it would be easily controled. Most norwegian served in the navy. Numbers show that 10 000 of 15 000 men in the navy was norwegian, rest was danes and dutchmen. Sevral of the most famous danish navy heros are norwegians, like Tordenskiold, Ivar Huitsfeldt, Cort Adeler
