@rangetogethe VU meter input connects to headphones/audio out 3.5jack into computer or etc.

Sorry, no exact schematics were made. This is basic schematic, just connect not 1 led to channel, but 4 leds for channel

Just simply connected in series 4 LEDsto each channel of LM3915. After long time using, chip gets quite hot. Next time i would build it with transistors for switching leds current, so chip wouldnt be overloaded like now
