Today, Maurice Strong sits atop the global environmental movement headed by the United Nations and its interlocking NGO's and tax-exempt foundations.

Strong is considered to be the person behind the globalization of the foundation-funded environmental movement, and was the Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment held in 1972, in Stockholm, Sweden.

He co-authored the 'Earth Charter' with Mikhail Gorbachev in 1992. It was Gorbachev who stated in 1996 that the "threat of environmental crisis will be the 'international disaster key' that will unlock the New World Order."

Strong was recruited by David Rockefeller at the age of 17 and groomed for the role he serves today. Despite not having a college education, he was a millionaire by his early 20's and wielded enormous power and influence.

Already in 1972, at the time of this interview, there is talk of doomsday scenarios if people don't give up their rights and drastically alter the way they live. Also mentioned in the interview is zero growth, put forward by the Club of Rome in the late 60's/early 70's, which called for the control of population and economic growth, and was the precursor to what we see happening today with the US economy and infrastructure being gutted and sent overseas.

In this interview clip Strong discusses his proposal of licenses in order for women to give birth, which has been of much talk among the elite for the past several decades. In the 70's, David Rockefeller extended his praise to communist dictator of China, Mao Zedong, in an article published in the New York Times, for his country's one-child policy, which will be the model for the Western nations to follow in the future -- hence China's "Most Favored Nation" status granted by the UN.

We had the coldest day in winter in Sydney in 61 years

Coldest in Northern Territory in decades.

Global warming? No. Climate changing of course it always has.

Maurice Strong said he wants to de industrialize the west. Close down industry, best way to do this is a form of tax, carbon tax. The most effective way to generate power will shut down with carbon tax. There fore industry in the west will be shut down if Maurice gets his way.

He preaches population reduction.

De industrialization, population reduction will be done by stealth. Gone are the days where Communist gov rule with the gun? These days its through fear mongering of “rising sea levels”, “extreme heat”, "getting fried to death", "earth quakes", "extreme tornados" , "tax reform", breaking family unity and traditions. Maurice/co say this is due to man made Co2, last I looked man mad Co2 makes up ~3% the rest is natural. Australia makes ~0.002, from memory? Propaganda which they hope molds us

Agree indeed.

I don't know about how much CO2 is made by each country. However, regarding global warming I know one fact. Anthropogenic global warming propagandists use computer modeling (nonlinear modeling), nonlinear modeling isn't a good science, yet. Also we don't understand causation that well to a model complex system such as climate system.

The so called climate scientists predicted ice melting on the Himalayas, which didn’t happen. Our Tim Flannery predicted we in Australia will run out of water in 2008/2009 among other claims, it didn’t happen. UN claimed temperature rise in the last 10 years it didn’t, it plateaued even decreased in some parts. Just too much to list. Those who continue to propagate this crap in the media should be shamed. Not to prevent freedom of speech but to prevent lies in order to control people
