We moved into this San Clemente house the start of her 8th grade year, she is now 18 and graduates from San
Clemente High School in June.
How tragic that she never experienced the memories that she could and should have had in our backyard with her
family and friends. When I think of Barbecues missed, birthday parties and celebrations that were never held,
moments missed over and over again. The thought of her missing out on all this turns my gut.
Right now she only has memories of corruption, bribes and lies. Then the intimidation suffered because we could expose
the city's dirty little secret. These are her memories of moving to San Clemente. We hope they will fade, once she
leaves for college. It kills me to think of what she missed out on and had to suffer through. Please know San Clemente
building department and Mr. Dahl that those years are lost forever. This thought makes forgiveness tough but, we will overcome and
not allow anger to destroy our family.
Eight months until she leaves for BYU, step up and fix the damage done at the hands of your employees. You should
have a WARNING sign at the building department front desk that reads: Your permits and permit fees our only good for two things...
Paper and ink, nothing else is included,,, How foolish of us to believe that the building department was there to
Protect us and to have our backs. Too bad those families on my street where never warned.
Mr. Dahl, You turned your back on us and a lot of other San Clemente home owners.
We are tired of waiting for men to be honorable.
did you not understand you moved in a snob community?
