  • One of the greatest writers, and some good that came out of Afghanistan, he was born there,

  • Aida, your video is amazing. I cannot find any words to describe it. "I'm afraid of God to call it divine" :) I feel you are a very special and good person. Thank you so much for uploading! I wish I could understand the poem completely... Is there any English translation for it?

  • The images and the music are just magical. Poetry recited in Farsi is just hypnotic--what a beautiful language. I don't understand it but the yearning of the Divine's love needs no translation here...

  • Those arguing about Maulana's nationality would be better off using their collective energies more wisely if we listened,UNDERSTOOD and hopefully acted accordingly, we'd be closer to him. Love doesn't start or stop at man made borders, historical empires or man's ego. His words are universal and in my opinion everyone should claim him as a companion rather than as an Afghan, Persian, Muslim or Turk. Let's just say he was a human and so are you and I. That would be a good start.

  • im sorry but back in the 800's the whole land including india and turkey was called ARIA which then countries developed and so did borders... then it was called ARIANA after that iran became its own country.. ok? farsi was the original language of ARIA.. ariana is now afghanistan and still its language is farsi.. so put the pieces together for urself and u will no... afghans are the original and farsi is our original language

  • I am even better than Rumi

  • hey gusy dnt u kno dat sun moon starts r universal? be more polite n realistic plz. having argu abt our langu or accent daznt make any difference.plz lets enjoy Rumi's poem.merci.

and YES the Persians had CONTROL of all that area during the P. Empire...but that DOES NOT change the fact that you guys are afghan!

    Lool ...wow...

  • @Sunshinesrays1 No because if you ask a pashtun in afghanistan what us Afghan Tajiks speak they say 'Farsi' BECAUSE we are persian -_______- gosh....persia used to be a big country called PERSIA and it consisted of tajikistan and iran and afghanistan (Y)

  • @Mitraatano9
