@wormselectro Yes, I believe that all these actresses are much better looking than the celebrities of today.

My dear Louise Brooks inspired me to get a bob and may I say...HELL YEAH!!!! You gotta have a special something ...not everyone can come out from behind their long hair ( and I don't mean ANY disrespect by that I promise ). I just see sooo many women on the street who wear long hair and it ages them soooooo much. If you are thinking of a bob...GO GIRL...get your cut on, and show your beautiful face. Others will back me on this...I find that men really LOVE it because it's daring ( bonus ).

it was a class project and i was most inspired by her, she was the first to spring for this in this era@MPL029

By the way, although it is definitely iconic, Louise Brooks bob (Dutch boy) was less common than many think nowadays. Few wore it this short. A longer, wavy bob was a lot more popular.

I have a waist-length hair and I have been tempted to bob it since I got interested in the roaring twenties. I know, many consider long hair the best but it gets annoying when you wear it for years..

I rock the bob haircut...and love it.

nice vid!
0:52 is Colleen Moore, who was actually doing the bob in movies years before Louise Brooks.

@PolishedMonocle there's a photo of Coleen Moore represented in this Video, these ladies were quite the beauties however Lousie Brooks seemed more sultry and I believe women found that fascinating. I love this time period, so much has evolved from it.
