COD6: Modern Warfare 2 Part 31 (The Enemy of My Enemy)

Welcome to part 31 of my Call of Duty 6 Modern Warfare 2 Walkthrough on Veteran Mode (Xbox360) [I do not have Xbox Live!]

--With Roach and Ghost both gone, we are left to play as Soap once again. Seems like Soap was caught off guard, but Price never trusted Shepherd to begin with. Can't fool that 'stache!

We're picking up where they left off. Tons of enemies both of Makarov's and Sherpherd's. It's advised to just let them take each other out, but of course they'll still attack you if you are within their sights. So I like to play it safe and just kill everyone I can to ensure my survival.

I end up ditching the MP5K early simply because there's never any ammo for it, so I'll always stick with enemy weaponry here and keep the sniper rifle.
Tons of enemies in the beginning so chances are the weapon you pick up will get all the ammo it needs. I like sticking to thermal weapons or the P90.

Eventually Price will get a hold of Makarov by tapping into enemy comms. Makarov will tell us of Shepherd's location. With that we'll need to get to Nikolai so we can get the hell out of here. Just a ton of enemies to go through first.

I'm taking a long time because I see no rush in getting my ass handed to me lol. I always take my times with games, this isn't a speed run and I sure as hell am not here to show off.

Kinda hard to just shoot and run when 4 simultaneous shots gets you killed on veteran.

@MetroidHunters this betrayal thing being the base of the ending for my story, Operation W.A.S.P. a three-way firefight and the heroes need to survive.

@MetroidHunters and @CMDRFandragon -- Shock and Awe. Remember the nuke in Modern Warfare (CoD 4)? Shepherd lost 30,000 men and women, and he was mad that "the world just fuckin' watched". (In fact, IIRC, Makarov was supposed to be his scapegoat; he didn't anticipate Makarov's killing Allen/Alexei.)

@MetroidHunters no, it was the fact that in mw2 when the nuke went off in the middle east killing all of those american soldiers he wanted revenge. and since price launched a nuke at where the russians were attacking the US i think shepered wanted to kill them.

I find the sniper rifle mostly effective in this mission although i died about 5 times in the mission.

@CMDRFandragon Shepherd would soon start a second, personal war, eliminating anyone with knowledge of Joseph Allen and his final op, be they terrorist or member of his own Task Force. Shepherd sends Task Force 141 to recover intelligence pertaining to his scapegoat, Vladimir Makarov. Shepherd eventually reveals his true colors when he executed Roach and Ghost in the Caucasus Mountains after the latter raid an Ultranationalist safe house and retrieve intelligence that could implicate him.

He'll be in the textbooks alright MetroidHunters. It'll go somthing like this "General Shepherd was close to Hitler, but not quite there. After betraying most or all of his men Captain Mactavish and Captain Price survived, found him, and killed him for the good of the country...Amen lol
