Jackie Robinson no.42 tribute

Classic moment that picture of him showing the NY cap 2 cleveland fans on the big screen in the stadium is so good lol
lebron james @ game 1 cleveland indians vs new york yankees flaunting a yankees cap 2 the crowd in cleveland indians home arena , i dont get why people are so bothered by this, back when mike was ballin for chicago everytime they faced the knicks in the playoffs i was rooting 4 mike everytime, , like bron said he loves anything with pinstripes , (tribe suck) go NY = cleveland indian fans i got 4 things 2 say about ur sports= .the drive.the fumble.the shot.the shot II. my favourite was the shot = michael jordan hitting the pump jumpshot gamewinner over craig ehlo knocking out the cavs & chicago wins the series, after we win this series what will cleveland have but memories of when mike was draining game winners over ehlo & jus the cavs getting completely dominated by chicago & then when mike was around 40 playing for the wizards he was still getting a gamewinner on cleveland beating the cavs lol michael jordan greatest of alltime

King James, The Chosen One, LBJ

LeBron Raymone James (born December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Commonly nicknamed "King James" and "The Chosen One", the Akron, Ohio-born James was highly promoted in the national media as a future NBA star while still in high school, and was named Ohio's "Mr. Basketball" three times. At the age of 18, he was selected with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Cavaliers and signed an unprecedented US$90 million shoe contract with Nike before his NBA debut. He has since set numerous youngest player records. In his first season, he received the NBA Rookie of the Year Award and in the following three seasons received All-NBA and All-Star honors. He led the Cavaliers to back-to-back playoff appearances in 2006 and 2007; the latter year the team advanced to the Conference Finals for the first time since 1992 and the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history.

James is listed as a small forward, but can also play point guard and shooting guard. This versatility has led to his classification as a "point forward". James was a member of the United States men's national basketball team that won the bronze medal in the 2004 Olympics in Athens and he finished second in the league Most Valuable Player balloting in 2006.

Despite being compared to players such as Michael Jordan, Oscar Robertson, and Magic Johnson,LeBron James compared himself to a young Penny Hardaway. He stated, "Penny sees the whole floor and can score," LeBron James said. "He's still one of my favorite players of all-time."

Slam Magazine article: Now remember that Penny Hardaway was what LeBron and DWade are today : the future of the NBA, functioning at a high level in the present with a skill set that seemed limitless.

To this day, you still see his sneaker, a classic moment it hit the stores backed by a hugely successful ad campaign. Back in '93-94, he was the only rookie to start all 82 games, earning All-Rookie first team honors. The next year? All-NBA first-team and a trip to the Finals. Yes, Penny's rise to the top was that fast, and he reapeated those first-team honours in '95-96 with averages of 22, 7 and 4. And for those mumbling about his points-per not being sufficient, remember that this was before the rule changes were implemented to speed up the tempo and increase scoring. He was killing in a League designed to discourage such a thing. Oh, and he was playing with Shaq, too.

On October 4, 2007, James received criticism from Cleveland fans and critics alike for showing up to Game 1 of Major League Baseball's 2007 American League Division Series at the Cleveland Indians' Jacobs Field as a fan wearing a cap of the New York Yankees, the Indians' ALDS opponents. In a third inning interview with TBS reporter Craig Sager while seated in the bleachers, James said, "As individuals I want every Indian to succeed. I love all these fans for coming out and supporting us. But team-wise I want the Yankees to win." Despite residing in Ohio for all of his childhood, James explained that he grew up as a Yankees fan, a Dallas Cowboys fan for the NFL and a Chicago Bulls fan for the NBA & he was Los Angeles Lakers fan aswell. As the Indians began to rout the Yankees in the sixth inning, James left the stadium with his entourage. In December 2007, James is ranked at #1 in the Forbes Top 20 Earners Under 25 with an annual earnings of 27 million dollars.

  • @Lwojcik77 Have you lived of do live in or near Detroit or Michigan?or if you were brought up a Red Wing fan family. If so, then you aren't a bandwagoner. I'm just saying the people who like the yankees, red wings, cowboys, and Lakers/Celtics (two or more of those teams, not just one) are major bandwagon fans.

I was insulting LeBron, not Red Wings fans...
