This is an episode of the show Making It which featured Yvan Pedneault. It was all about how he got the lead role of Galileo in We Will Rock You and how he had to come to Toronto and learn english despite his heavy french accent..all in time for opening night. Sorry for the crappy quality, it was recorded off of my digital camera..but its worth it cuz Yvan is such an amazing figgy...

  • Wow, I didn't know that HE didn't know the English language that well before performing. I mean, you could never tell with the performance he gave. My friends actually noticed that he had a Quebec accent, so maybe I'm just slow.

But still... it looks like he worked REALLY hard for this role. Yvan completely owns my soul too. *traces hearts around his face*

  • I went to see WWRY last Saturday, and let me say, he has done some HARD worrk because he spoke so clearly and enthusiastically. He was my favourite part of the show! Bravo!

  • haha, he hides his accent reeeeally well on stage, i got to go backstage after the show and i met him and his accent was really heavy and obvious, in a cute way of course. XD

he mentioned something about how hard it was for him to improv on stage if something goes wrong because he doesn't know too much english and stuff, XD
