cute video - clearly gran and child have a loving relationship - at the moment I personally switch on and off my bedroom light, wash my hands so many times in the bathroom and am also trying to repress my other 'twitches' but have had mental repercussions as a result(I get more irritated and am more lethargic than before recently

I'm confused are the things that could have hurt his grandma really being stopped by his complusions or is that what he thinks is happening and he is stopping those thoughts through his actions?

Ok, obsessional cleanse time. I said about a year ago that my medical studies were curtailed, well they never even started! Yes I lied. Incidentally I did always wanna do this but OCD gets in the way of a lot of things, hope to apply to study medicine in the next few years, need to get some decent A-level grades first though I think!
Sorry everyone.

cute :)
good job.
HinchyFilms; What is your point? Do you think that compulsions in real life would have really made his grandma safe?! Thats the whole point of OCD, the fears are irrational, so the sooner they can be eliminated the better. This clip isn't conducive towards that elimination because an OCD sufferer watching it would believe those fears to be true!! Thats means their OCD continues or worsens.

purely in terms of the ocd, maybe you could have had the real world and the sufferers obsessional world playing at the same time, just to show that they can't influence the fate of others but that thats what goes on in their minds. OCD is a funny thing and by seeing this it could make a person believe that what there ocd tells them is true.
