Those who complain of "wrong notes" here sound like the moldy figs, Dixieland fans who complained bitterly at the advent of Be-Bop in the early 1940's. Warmth and beauty just flow from one of the great improvisers. To caress a lyric like this requires a lifetime of practice and insight. Dexter is the master balladeer and bopper without equal.

It fascinates me that one of the listeners thinks Dex is playing lots of wrong notes. It is all a matter of what you are used to, I guess. Maybe he is a IV-V-I rocker just visiting (?)
