Duke! May 24

for once WMM wasn't trying to eat my soul so i had a little fun with this one ^_^

my coach couldn't make it up to the barn saturday so she asked me to work her horse for her ^_^ this was also my first time riding since sarah stepped on me so my stomach was still hurting me a little, hence my gross jumping position and the piddly little fences.

i really want to partboard duke because sarah is driving me up the wall and through the ceiling .. so tell me what you think ^_^

heyy i ride @ chc chimes, and i just wanna say ur SUCH an amzing rider :). i love all the vids of u and lokie, i cant believe how well u can control him.. he looks like an ANGEL wen u ride him!! is he really that hard and crazy to ride?? i wanna ride him sooo badely but at the same time i dont wanna die:P. Do u think i would die if i rode him? i am 15, i have been riding for a long time.. i have lots of experience with insane, speedy, and lazy horses:P.

thanks! it took a very long time for me and loki to establish a good relationship .. because the thing about him (not so much any more, he's growing out of it) is that he likes to play dirty. he's got a hell of a spook in him and he loves barrelling towards jumps, stopping, and then leaping over them anyway. if you can laugh about it and dont mind eating dirt (i remember falling off four times in a lesson) he's quite fun. once we started to trust each other he was consistently good for me (:

haha thanks! he's actually the smoothest horse i've ever sat on .. also the laziest! so i had to really drive him forward with my seat cause he just wasn't listening to my leg, and i had forgotten my dressage whip at home -_- my seat is usually softer and more forgiving though since i'm used to riding really sensitive horses. :D

ur really good! i love theh orse yall r good together! what breed is he? i love ur position and ur posting its good. how long have u been riding and what level rider are u? beginner (no way), advanced beginner (probably not), intermediate (possibly), advanced intermediate (probably), or advanced (likely), write back sorry for al the questions!

all we know about duke is that he's part belgian draft. i've been riding for five and a half years, and if i had to guess i'd say i'm an advanced rider--i teach other people how to ride and i spent most of this last year training green horses and bringing horses that haven't been ridden in a while back into work, not to mention i've gone through more training in so many different areas that i don't even want to think about it! LOL =]

ugh i hate riding while im in pain..one time i had a really bad cramp..like from when you exercise..in my stomach/ribish area..and so i had to do everything really slow...and my instructor got pretty mad..and i was just trying to focus on not falling off. lol =/
