It's a big billiards table(yes there's big and small), used to play 3-cushion. Doesn't have pockets, like a carom-table(or small billiards table for that matter).

Actually my bad. I just watched the video again. I was focusing on the coin and totally forgot about the actual trick, i.e. hitting the 2 other balls, which is far from being easy.
I just meant that, otherwise, anyone can place a coin on a rail and make it jump.

I don't know, I was playing carom earlier tonight and I have to admit, it's a LOT harder then it looks. I have a new found appreciation for his skill.
