Man Falls Off Chairlift

A snowboarder was swinging as we were going up the slope, when he smacked into one on the supporting beams. He then manages to grap on with one hand. We continue moving for about 20 seconds until the lift is stopped at a lower point than the original point of the accident. He then drops approximately up to 12-13 feet, (man = approximately just under 6 feet tall - boarder = 5- 6 feet + gap between 5-6 feet before walking back with the ski patrol for, what I presume, medical examinations.

This video begins about 20 seconds into the fiasco, post collision and the time it took my to take out my cell phone.

That is no big deal. If he dropped directly off the chair maybe, but hanging from the chair like that he doesn't have far to fall. I've intentionally jumped off a chair higher than that before without injury.
