Ruby's (F1 Savannah) on her afternoon walk

Ruby loves to go on her walks. The warm afternoon sun brings out the colors on her and she is very excited to be out and about in the yard. Of course she does love to see where dinner comes from so she trots on over to the chicken coop. Good thing for the chickens she is on a leash and under control. My wife later joins us and takes over the leash responsibility. Ruby is a F1 Savannah and is about 2 years old.

I do not yet have a Savannah, but plan to. I am wondering about the cat picking up fleas outside. Some seem to say to walk them, some seem to say it is best to keep them indoors. Any experience with fleas or other pests?

F1 type can run as high as like 16k. more towards the 12k zone though.
