I saw this and wanted to vomit. The boomers weren't as much a dissapointment as the mass media were, incl Tom Brokaw. The only reason Brokaw kept his job is he kissed endless buttocks of the right wing, including the 'greatest generation' who rose to the occasion of a horrific war that was a failure of humanity, and became an endless rationale for the US to kill anybody anytime anywhere that has resulted in an arrogant empire now floundering. Brokaw's superior attitude is inaccurate/disgusting.

Nope. The ones that dropped out were the liberals. The ones that proceeded to dismantle as much of the New Deal and kill our economy were conservatives, mostly involved with the religious right.

Only the conservative ones did. The liberal Boomers dropped out and started working on things like organic farming, alternative energy generation, and how to live without ruining the environment.
You know, the dirty f'n hippies that all the mainstream (in other words conservative) people hated, as the conservatives set about destroying the economy ending in the recent collapse by deregulating the corporations and financial businesses?
You know, they were right, and are really helping now.
