I don't know if he's still in touch with his old Busted bandmates but if he isn't they can't really be called great friends, obviously his fans loved him, but Fightstar's fans respect him too, Charlie was moonlighting with Fightstar for a whole year before leaving Busted so he didn't take the decision lightly, but ultimately if he's unhappy having great production and fans isn't going to matter too much which is why he left

Fair enough. I agree with you that if Charlie is happy making his own genre of music and that if he was still in busted he may not be allowed to make heavy music. HOWEVER, think about it. Staying in busted wouldn't be too bad an idea for Charlie too. He had great friends like matt willis and James bourne, great production crew to bring the music all together. Great fans from all around the world. Money is just a bonus. But isn't it obvious that Charlie isn't making a rational decision here?

Clearly you are motivated by fame and fortune. Many people aren't, it doesn't make them stupid, money is worth fuck all if you're unhappy. I'm sure he's still making enough to enjoy a good lifestyle but if he was still in Busted I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be allowed to make songs like Deathcar or Damocles because it would be way too heavy for the audience so he wouldn't be making the music he wants to make.

All I can see in the comments section is people arguing over the opinion that he should never have left Busted. Just get over it; some things are better off buried in the past, y'know? Besides, I doubt that Busted would be producing music such as this nowadays. I came here to enjoy what Charlie does now, but if you're here to complain, you really shouldn't have bothered. there is no need explain about how passionate charlie is for music and how he doesn't see that fame to continue that passion. Everyone can see that so clearly you are just stating the obvious. What I am stating here is not charlie isn't exactly very bright in the brains for making such a decision. You are clearly not very bright too.
