Here's one of the first few things I shot in 16mm: a filthy, mostly randomly-spliced slab of celluloid mostly documenting early Farmingdale Sound Machine / Thousands of Lives recording sessions in a disjointed manner. Look at all those future indie near-stars! Thrill to the jejune despair of it all! Featuring Farmingdale Sound Machine tracks from 2005 or so, including Chris Kunkel crooning a touching take on Cliff Richard's "The Young Ones" along with lots and lots of fuzztone distortion. Good family fun... Mike Wexler plays with King Kong Bundy. Scott Kiernan patiently plucks guitars. Neil Innes appears to remind us that "dada is so last century," and I strap on a $30 guitar and get my Exploding Plastic Inevitable on. TWANG!
Strong. Intensive. Vivivd.
Can't say more.
