@wfrose21 I completely agree with you. This wonderful song causes the same feelings on my soul. It's perfect...

In another life, in the late 1960's, I lived and taught school in Uganda. During first leave, I hitched hiked from Nairobi to Karen and then to Ngong Hills. I had read Isaac Dinesen's book in college. I spent hours there only with the light breeze. Africa distilled. Barry's score has nothing to do with Africa or Kenyans or the settlers who lived there. It has everything to do with universal yearning for good and an evocative landscape. This is a beauttiful montage. Asante sana kabisa.

Es una buena banda sonora para inspirarse y escribir. Preciosa. =)

A great sound track to the big adventures and love affairs of life. John Barry captures a beautiful innocence and romance in his music, makes me feel glad to be alive

@mygoose You are so fortunate to live where you do! I just met a gentleman who works with me and is a native of Kenya and his family owns a farm there! He invited me and another co-worker to stay at his family compound and will be our tour guide! How lucky can someone be! Ever since I first saw this movie, I dreamed of going to Kenya! Now, if this is the last thing I ever do in this life, I'll be happy!

such a wonderful track.
My house is 0.5km from where Karen Blixen lived some 90 years ago and every time I listen to this music , every time I hear lions roar at Nairobi National Park, every time I see the majestic Ngong Hills I'm like this is Africa as it was meant to be, raw, natural and very slow to change.
