these pictures are taken in the month september.
The place is menesjarvi and that is about 70 km from a place called Inari.
The music is from Mari-Boine and she is one of my favorite saami music makers.
Norternlight can be seen as soon as it gets dark in finland so in the months sept,oct, nov,dec, january, febuary, march, april and maybe in may.

what's the season? i see water not frozen, and i guess Aurora should be on winter.
And please check the name of lake, i can't find the "Meneslarvi" in maps

Music is from CD 'Mari Boine Remixed'. Her song "Ahcai" (=Father in Saami language) is remixed by Future Prophecies and is perfectly suited to accompany the eery lightshow of a great nordic display of northernlight. Mari boine is a saami (Lapland) singer-songwriter with her own band and is already 30 years active as a Saami artist. Look her up of MySpace!
