I don't understand how someone (below) can criticize Craig for being in the media. He's an excellent spokesperson. His personality & passionate talk brings in money to FTC. I doubt the org would receive as much money without a spokesperson as involved as Craig is.

I see where you're coming from, but I don't believe that's the goal. Media shouldn't control non-profit organizations, but Free The Children would still have been discredited had it simply ignored the Haiti situation. The work FTC does is wonderful - I'm in my school's organization - and is not in it for media attention. Do YOU feel bad about Haiti? Would YOU donate if the media didn't constantly remind us of it?

It doesn't matter if FTC was there before. It matters that they're there now.

He does so much for everyone. He should win some award or something, he deserves it!

Craig is a wonderful man and very sincere. He does an amazing job with Free the Children and his efforts continue to amaze.

Craig Kielburger is only in this for the media attention! Free the children does not even work in Haiti! There are plenty of other organizations that have been working in Hait for years and are part of the relief/rebuilding effort. What good is he doing by talking to the people about the relief that they have not received yet. Media Sensationalist - not impressed!
