Questions:
- How do we promote and develop the use of cycling in the workforce / students?
- Would a 'Green Mark" or brand for the South West enable a more integrated low carbon strategy across the South West?
- Do we have to raise energy resources at any cost (relating to the Severn Barrage)?
Leaders from the regions business community discussed the green economy and the key issues of the day in a roundtable debate on Wednesday, March 24 at 11:30am.
Northcliffe Media, owner of Gloucestershire Media, publishers of The Citizen, Echo and The Forester, teamed up with the South West RDA to host this interactive debate.
Taking place on Budget Day, the event looked at how the region can make the most of the green economy and touched upon some of the economic issues they would like to see both the Chancellor and the future Government tackle, regarding the low carbon economy.
