US aim is to capture osama bin laden. Taliban is protecting bin laden. ISI is protecting taliban and lashkar-e-toiba. Pakistan's army is protecting ISI and its civilian clowns.
There is change of policy, the US is more inclined towards India now. Nuclear deal is one example. US does not want India to attack pakistan. It would give a reason for porkis to redeploy its forces and fight for a real cause, rather than killing taliban. Some articles say that the US controls nukes of porkis.

@myownmedia :-) even after all this and worse India is far Superior to pakistan. What ever you may say, all know Indian economy even in the worst of times is better than pakistan's best times. So you know where pakistan is. It is really not the people. I say this because common people are common people in all nations. But you really need good leaders and governance.

war is not an option. The cost of even a limited nuclear war between India and Pakistan (or Pakistan and other states) would be too high. Millions dead. Millions starving or shitting their intestines out with horrible pain. On both sides. Even if the whole Western arsenal would be deployed against Pakistan it could not safely exclude a Pakistani Second Strike towards India. In consequence : There needs to be a peaceful solution.

As far as any neutral observer may understand...India has far too many defense fleet and personnel and is no way inferior than Pak's fleet. Don't keep your hopes too high on F-16's...after all you only have a few..and as the state sponsor of terrorism that you are... I don't think the U.S. would want to tango with you anymore. Infact, be more concerned of F-16's from the USAF bombing your zameen!
