In 1990 Brunette broke up after the deal from Capitol Records got dropped. Most LA bands were dropped at this time as attention shifted from LA to Seattle.

Streetheart was the Original & First band (who were Canadian) to record this song! Next came Danny Spanos to record/cover it . Next came Hardline who did another cover/recording of the same song. Period! End of debate. Because Danny Spanos version was the only version to chart in the Top Ten he is considered by many to be the original artist which he is not. However
, I believe in my own opinion the Danny Spanos version is the best!
