Haha, yeah indeed However punk could also be played difficult the same is for Grindcore. It might be differce if you play it well and have a little bit acknowledge of musical theory you could be able to create nice songs.

Pushing the boundaries of musical excellence is fucking great. very time consuming though, you can see why kids just give up after they learn powerchords

Oh, believe me, I know. I've heard plenty of great grind; I just think it's lame that so many bands would choose to play it poorly.

That's the problem with grindcore and punk rock. The ease with which that kind of music can be made means that the scenes become flooded with unengaging trash.

You know what the bigger problem is? Too many young musicians won't take the initiative to really learn to play, and are content being only marginally skillful.
