Jimi Hendrix Experience's first, in 1964 (or 1965) live with "Curtis Knight and the Squires" .
He plays and sings "I'm a Man" (Mannish Boy) credited to Bo Diddley and Muddy Waters. As far away from the dazzling style of Hendrix 1966-70, this "I'm a Man" shows a fully mature and very personal guitar technique, besides being one of the few songs sung by Jimi with Curtis Knight and the Squires.

Jimi was full of life and new musical ideas that make us imagine what would have created. His death was a tragic accident caused by barbiturates and alcohol. "Mannish Boy" is often credited as Bo Diddley/Muddy Waters reimagining the song "Hoochie Coochie Man" which is in fact credited to his bassist, Willie Dixon.
