In Episode 4 of MOAB : Pilgrimage to the Promised Land, we take on a trail that has put an end to our fun in Moab for two years in a row - Metal Masher! Last year, Trail Bud blew out his rear end on the Sand Ledge and two years before, it was me who busted a rear drive shaft trying to climb it. While some may call it insanity, I'm sure it'd be no surprise to you that we tackle the exact same obstacle on this run and with the expectations of a different result. Other fun obstacles we play on include Tailpipe Hill, Rock Chucker, Mirror Gulch and the Climb Challenge. Before heading back to town, we spend some time along the high cliffs created by the Moab Fault and take in the awesome views out across Arches National Park and the La Sal Mountains. I hope you enjoy the video.

More than just a trail, Moab is a destination. It's what many like to refer to as, "the promised land." It's a beautiful off-roading paradise, sculpted out of red rocks and with breathtaking views every which way you look. And, it's a place that most Jeepers hope to make a pilgrimage to at least once in their life. Originally completed as a single 1 hour film, MOAB : Pilgrimage to the Promised Land, has been broken down into a 6 part series and documents the week long pilgrimage we made with our friends to attend the Easter Jeep Safari back in 2010.

  • I am so jealous!!! I am a new jeep owner and i would love to be a part of something like this. I have a 2012 jeep wrangler unlimited. Unfortunately, here in west Texas we don't have rocks like this. So for now I just have fun taking my family out mudding by one of our two lakes here in Abilene. Congrats on the good times.. once again I am jealous !

  • @KOSWARFARE thank you

  • a lot of you guys were not aired down enough... but very good vids

  • @TheMrcalcovaify i'm gonna guess that you've never run toyo's before. in spite of what you might think, most of the jk's you see are running 8-10 psi. we typically run about 5 but, i still get people telling me that i'm not aired down enough.

  • If I won the lottery, this is all I would do, everyday, for the rest of my life.

  • I used to have a jeep JK and was a member of project JK. I have never meet wayoflife, but always was impressed by his passion and knowledge.

I have seen all of the Rubicon Trail vids and all of the Moab vids. I love all of them. I love the editing, the style, the music, the people, and the content.

Jeep should be paying you to make these vids, cause you all make Jeeping look cool/sexy, which is just what they need and apparently aren't doing well enough at themselves.

    Awesome job!

  • @MrSpeaker604 LOL!! he wasn't stock - running a TF 3" lift and 35's :)

  • @2:20 its funny how the guy with stock rubber made it up no problems at all, gotta luv jeep.

  • I won't take my vehicle on these roads but impressed. 4 door version more practical in real world. Not only here in USA. Abroad, people, prefer a longer version for comfort too.
