( part 3). As she made her way to my desk, she put her hand on my shoulder and this sensation of a million white-hot coals hit my entire body. I told her to take her hand off me, to which she told me to go out in the hall. While out there, she said that she didn't know why I was so offended, and I answered as nicely as I could that if being touched made it feel like a massive air raid within your mind, you would not like it either. People need to be educated about this; it isn't going away.

(cont'd.) That's not to say there are no good teachers or staff, but it's to illustrate the shortcomings of the education system. The most prevalent issue is that teachers/staff are not given the proper resources to deal with such situations; they just apply an antiquated protocol to all situations, leading to more suspensions, detentions, and "rubber stamping." I had a high school teacher in history class who had this penchant for touching people (I told her ahead of time not to touch me)

I never disclosed it to my teachers, because there was no necessity to do so. I am socially awkward but I was not intellectually inferior. I possess a high IQ but I am also quite socially inept. The school system felt more like a prison and disclosure would have meant a harder sentence. It is designed to exploit only skills needed to pass state exams and fatten teachers' wallets.

But Einstein never took an IQ test! -.- fail.

I am wondering, if he acts young, it is because he IS young, 14 is still a child. And not all AS people are brilliant, I have it and I certainly am not. Yet I have many of the other common "symptoms," which led to my diagnosis..
