hey hm im kinda new to fish and well i got to cichilds and there cool but i dont have a heater do u think i should get one and can i put an oscar with my fish in my 5 galloon tank i got 2 cichild a electric yellow one and a black one but getting a bigger thank son thanks for ur time atlas

Oscars in a 5 gal is a bad idea. They will out grow that in no time. Plus when they're young, they are aggressive and eat other fish alot more. You don't need a heater for a small tank like that.

You can do whatever you like, it's ok for a small one, but they grow big, and they like to swim around. So if you really like your fish, you'll invest in something bigger. Like a 55 gal.
